Dear Partner in Care,
As we near the end of 2021, I want to wish you the happiest of holidays. We look forward to another successful year of caring in concert with you for the patients we serve, together.
So many of our patients experienced interruptions to their healthcare, from choosing to stay away due to COVID fears early on, to the unfortunate necessity we faced in postponing elective procedures amid the worst COVID spike in July.
We’re working hard to help you and your staff ensure your patients get the care they need before yearend. Count on us to go the extra mile to make it work.
Another step we can all take is to protect from COVID-19 in the most effective way medical science has to offer: vaccination. If you haven’t yet completed the federal requirement, please take action. Federal regulations require our medical staff, colleagues and volunteers to have their first dose (or single dose) by Dec. 6 and the second one by Jan. 3.
We have much to be grateful for and much to look forward to as one year turns to another. Your continued collaboration with St. Tammany Health System is vital to us. A strong community of aligned physicians is vital to the success of our mission, and we thank you for that.
Gratefully,
Joan M. Coffman President and CEO, St. Tammany Health System
